Classic Dictionary of The Arabic Language by al-Imam Abi Bakr Shamsuddin al-Razi (d.666 AH). This dictionary was compiled as an abridgement of as-Sahih by al-Jawhari (d. 393 AH), and al-Razi condensed to include only words in fairly common useage, or used in the Qur'an. He stated in the introduction that he included only words he believes were essential for a Scholar to know and memorize. This dictionary is for the serious student already familiar with Arabic and different verb forms. Printed by Dar Ibn Kathir in one small volume that consist of 745 pages.
